Timothy Paul Brown was born in New York City. His father was a noted painter, his mother is a ceramicist. A 1990 Graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design. His work animates the gallery space with his forged steel figures that dance, run, balance on one leg, and play musical instuments. Built of perforated steel, the figures, especially the jesters, have surprising presence. Often represented at the peak of action and ready to move on to something new, these acrobats and musicians are full of life and vitality.
